I had a similar experience during diwali this year. I had booked tickets for 3 ppl on Indian Airlines (Mum-Kolkata) through ezeego1 and 2 hrs before the flight they called me up to inform that the ticket has not been booked and my people will not be able to travel by Indian Airlines. I had booked this ticket using their website and payment was already made.
I had a fight with them and then they agreed to make alternate arrangement. They booked these 3 ppl on kingfisher business class on the same date without any extra payment from our side.
Since you paid for the tickets to ezeego1, they are responsible for your tickets/travel.
Threaten them with legal action, call up their customer care number and ask them to connect you to appropriate person/their boss .. this is the only way if you dont want to take the legal route ..
You can also take the legal route, time and efforts will be required but in this case you can ask them to compensate for hazar other things ...
