Dear Friends,
After a 22 day campaign and sending e mails to the customer care manager that shalini sent to me, I got refund of 17726 after deducting cashback yesterday. They apologise on phone and offered to return any difference of fair that we may have paid flying on 6th nov. I said its ok but this did not compensate for the humiliation that parents suffered on being denied boarding passes. Moreover, my dad was on post operative care period and was adviced that he should not suffer any stressful situation. The two days were immense stress to all of us and there were lost business oppurtunities.
we have found the address of consumer court in mumbai and my brother will file a case against ezeego1 seeking a compensation of Rs 4-5 lacs.
Ezeego1 must be penalised for the recklessness and callousness that they have shown for last one month.

I would suggest that first you send Legal notices to the company if you have not done so as yet. Do not forget to issue the notices to all the Directors of Ezeego, the manager of the concerned Branch and anyother top official whom you think may be roped in this case. This will generate the desired heat and pressure. Incase you decide on filing the Consumer Complaint later on, join all these people as your opponents.

My younger sis was legal manager there till last month...and I have seen them do the job in a very systematic and intimidating manner (empowered by Govt.of India)
Once u do that, u can take other routes for redressal....but filing a complaint at the earliest helps a lot later.

Hey ppl, quite like Berry and Ravi's experiene, ezeego has been really fleecing people... I booked the ticket, got confirmed tickets with PNR... but airline refused to accept the ticket since ezeego had not registered the ticket and PNR was not generated by the airline.. not to forget, the money was charged to my account...

I had a similar experience during diwali this year. I had booked tickets for 3 ppl on Indian Airlines (Mum-Kolkata) through ezeego1 and 2 hrs before the flight they called me up to inform that the ticket has not been booked and my people will not be able to travel by Indian Airlines. I had booked this ticket using their website and payment was already made.
I had a fight with them and then they agreed to make alternate arrangement. They booked these 3 ppl on kingfisher business class on the same date without any extra payment from our side.
Since you paid for the tickets to ezeego1, they are responsible for your tickets/travel.
Threaten them with legal action, call up their customer care number and ask them to connect you to appropriate person/their boss .. this is the only way if you dont want to take the legal route ..
You can also take the legal route, time and efforts will be required but in this case you can ask them to compensate for hazar other things ...

Their call centre would not answer any calls, neither did they answer any mails. Finally, after 3 days they took her call, and didnt bother to follow up. She subsequently booked her ticket again on another website and is now planning to lodge a case with the consumer forum. So please beware. The best part is that they are offering a 50% cash back on ICICI Bank credit cards so it is quite irresistable.

Fraud By travel portal www.ezeego1.co.in
Dear Friends,
Recently, I had an unpleasant experience while boarding on booked flight tickets on www.ezeego1.co.in . We were denied boarding on Nov 4, 2007 at chennai airport by jet airways on the reason that our ticket has been cancelled.I was accompanied by my father and mother.We were travelling back to Patna after my father was operated for cataract in Shankar Netralaya, Chennai.
We apprached Jet Airways for clarification. It was informed to us that our PNR has been cancelled by www.ezeego1.co.in . We have to return back to our friends home where we were staying.
Next day, I visited Jet Airways office for lodging complaint against www.ezeego1.co.in. Jet Airways sales manager gave a patient hearing and informed us that this is a very common practice done by e travel portals. www.ezeego1.co.in has generated two pnr number for our booking and failed to generate tickets against those pnr number.
But, Jet airways refused to take written complaint against www.ezeego1.co.in on the pretext that www.ezeego.co.in is not authorised travel agent. www.ezeego1.co.in is a bulk buyers of tickets on various routes and jet airways has nothing to do with them after selling the tickets.
I have written mail to www.ezeego1.co.in from the airport on Nov 4, 2007 itself explaining our situation and difficulties faced by us. I got a call from www.ezeego1.co.in on Nov 7, 2007 acknowledging the reciept of mail and error done by them. They said that they are processing our refund in 7 working days. Now, after 10 working days and 5 mails after, we have failed to get refund till now. The customer care is not responding on phone as well as mail. The landline number given on website is also not responding.
We are going to file a complaint in consumer court by next week after going through legal advice.
I would like to have some personal contact in www.ezeego1.co.in through this group. If any one could help us in this regard, Please guide us
